General Information
Fulton County Public Schools is now offering a secure website to facilitate student records requests and employment verifications online.
A student's educational records are confidential and may only be disclosed as allowed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) or with the written permission of the student's parent or legal guardian, or of the student (if over 18 years old). Student records are kept in accordance with the Georgia Records Act.
Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.
All requests for student records/information will be submitted and paid for online. Phone and fax requests will no longer be accepted.

Please note the information below:
- Fulton County Public Schools is now offering a new secure website to facilitate student records requests and employment verifications online.
- Requests for information will be processed on normal business and hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- The office will be closed for the following occasions each year. All requests submitted during this time will be processed in the order received when the office reopens.
- Labor Day – September 2, 2024
- Columbus Day – October 14, 2024
- Thanksgiving Holidays – November 25-29, 2024
- Winter Break – December 23, 2024-January 3, 2025
- Martin Luther King Holiday – January 20, 2025
- Presidents Day – February 17, 2025
- Spring Break – April 7-11, 2025
- Memorial Day – May 26, 2025
- Juneteenth Holiday – June 19, 2025

- You will receive emails from scribOnline@scribsoft.com to notify you of the status of your order. It is important you read those emails carefully as additional information may be required to process your request.
- For those requesting to pick up records, to practice social distancing, requests for inactive student records will not be handled in-person (no walk-ins). Instead, we are now offering an option to have the records sent via a secure email system.
- Prospective employers, attorneys, colleges and universities will receive official copies.
- The fee structure for student records requests are listed below.
- There are NO fees for Alumni students Click the second Icon on the left.
- All requests will be sent electronically.
- All Corporations, Colleges, or Universities must complete and pay for the student records requests online.

All CORPORATIONS and POST-SECONDARY SCHOOLS must submit requests online.
Please note that ALL corporate requests for Verification of Graduation/Attendance will be delivered via email.
Immunization/Health Records must be requested from the Georgia Immunization Registry. Click HERE to order immunization records

Open Records Request:
Under the Georgia Open Records Act (OCGA §50-18-70 to §50-18-77) all public records are available for inspection and copying unless they are specifically exempted from disclosure under the law. If a government agency or custodian of public records withholds a public document from production under an Open Records Request, they will cite to the provision of Georgia law that exempts the record from being produced.
All Open Records Requests to inspect or copy records must be made in writing to the Open Records Officer, Alexia Hammonds. The school district will provide information relating to the request, as permissible and applicable by law, within 3 business days after it has been received by the Open Records Officer. If production of the information is not possible within that timeframe, the Open Records Officer will issue correspondence with an explanation.
